With a vision to create an environment where every woman achieves the highest quality of physical, mental, emotional, sexual, and reproductive health and well-being in their lifetime, Swastha Naari was formed by a group of four young women who were also WLiT fellows for the year 2018-19.
Swastha Naari is now a team of six and is working to improve women’s health and rights by providing workshops, training and seminars mainly focusing on reproductive and sexual, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health to reduce disparities in healthcare and health education. The organisation also collaborates with local authorities and communities to create a continuum of care, including access to health care services. Swastha Naari was able to represent Nepal in a global platform after being selected in the Top 2 of Generation Unlimited Youth Challenge – 2.0 which was organised by UNICEF Nepal, UNDP and Tyrocity.
