The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science that demonstrates that anyone can learn the fundamentals through entertaining ways. Every fellow in the Wlit Fellowship program conducts an hour of code in schools. We have conducted 50+ hours of code and reached 1600+ participants till date and among them about 50% of the participants are girls.The Hour of Code is not about picking up a completely new skill in only one hour .It aims to broaden participation in computer science by shattering barriers and removing barriers and instilling the believe that with proper resources and guidance anyone can learn to code.
